The St. Louis AgriBusiness Club was founded in 1981 by a group (Jeffrey Gain – 1981-82 President video) of forward-thinking executives who headed St. Louis-based corporations and associations. They believed that an organization was needed to provide a forum for interaction and discussion of important agricultural issues. View Bylaws(1-10-2017) Promotional flyer
Since its founding, the club has not only provided that forum, but has also been the impetus behind attracting agricultural companies and associations to the St. Louis area and has played an important role in educating government leaders and the general public about the importance of agriculture to the region and our nation.
Our monthly meetings are valued by a cross section of individuals from food, fiber and fuel companies, organizations, and agencies. Our 400+ members include every sector from field to fork which creates valuable networking and career opportunities. Monthly professional development luncheon meetings provide a variety of timely topics that address the opportunities and challenges of the agricultural industry.
